The Senior Change Manager is a critical role that supports the delivery of significant change in line with strategic priorities. This position is responsible for assessing business change needs and developing strategies for the timely and successful implementation of change across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and deliverables to enable adoption. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives, identify risks, and manage mitigation.
- Provide change guidance to projects and programs. Determine strategies from impact assessment to business-as-usual transition. Lead teams, coach members, provide QA oversight, and advocate for employees.
- Ensure governance compliance, identify stakeholders, facilitate communication, and manage change risks.
- Represent Change and People & Culture professionally, building positive relationships with stakeholders.
This role requires proven experience in leading transformational change management initiatives in Risk Management, Insurance, Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in roles specifically related to change management, organisational development, or transformation initiatives is essential.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence executive support, senior leaders, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to synthesise and present information in written and verbal forms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver full-cycle end-to-end change programs and related activities and deliverables.
- Experience across a range of enterprise programs, such as organisational restructuring, technology, and business process adoption, culture, and capability.
- Postgraduate qualification in Change Management or a related discipline, such as learning, organisational development, psychology.
- Project and change management certifications, such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), APMG Change Management Practitioner, Human Centred Design, Customer Experience.
- Familiarity with risk transformations and/or culture change programs.
- Creative Change and/or employee engagement design, including immersive experience/training/event design, would be advantageous.
