
Administrative Assistant Position

This position is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic, client-centric environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
As an Administration Support Specialist, you will be responsible for new client intake and financial management. You will work closely with our team of professionals to provide high-quality services across both clinic-based and telehealth settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- New client intake and appointment bookings - welcoming new clients, managing intake enquiries, and setting them up accurately in software systems.
- Financial management, including billing, accounts receivable and payable - processing Medicare claims, managing funding streams, and ensuring timely payment.
- Proactively managing outstanding accounts - following up professionally and assertively to ensure prompt resolution.
Essential Requirements:
- Proficiency in software systems (minimum 1 year experience).
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, including Medicare requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and account management across multiple funding bodies.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior administration experience in a healthcare or professional services organization.
- Strong multitasking, organisational, and time management skills.
