Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Strategist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our materials planning team in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for meticulous planning and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work with multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery.

As a Senior Supply Chain Strategist, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of materials required to execute business operations. You will work closely with operations and supply chain teams to translate demand into physical orders and ensure timely delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to create regional and global forecasts (12-18 months)
  • Work with operations teams to convert demand plans into physical orders
  • Analyze incoming demand, identify order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy, and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
  • Develop inventory strategies, including safety stock and turns
  • Perform material management analysis such as consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, and safety stock

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant industry equivalent experience
  • Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all levels, lead meetings, and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Good team player with proficient skills in SAP
