About the Role

The Tasmania Government is seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to fill the position of Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in our Transition Care Unit. This is a permanent, full-time role that requires a high level of leadership and management skills, as well as a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager and other senior staff to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
  • Assist the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources, and provide operational leadership through the coordination of day-to-day patient care activities, including patient flow.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $103,466 - $109,165 per annum.
  • A professional development allowance of up to $500 per annum.
  • A payment of $15,000 staged over three years for nurses and midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full-time for three years or more.
  • A postgraduate allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
