About the Role

The Nurse Unit Manager position in the Renal Satellite Unit is a key leadership role that requires a high level of expertise in nursing leadership, coordination, and strategic management. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and providing nursing leadership, support, clinical supervision, and mentoring within the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing leadership and coordination within a Renal Healthcare environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality of care and services provided by the Renal Satellite Unit.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
  • Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable.
