About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Leader in Aged Care. As a key member of our residential care team, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating resident care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement resident care plans that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life.
  • Lead a team of Personal Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Liaise with medical and allied health professionals, as well as residents' family members, to advocate for residents' needs and preferences.
  • Supervise and support the development of our Personal Care Workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Practice in a holistic way, using critical decision-making skills to lead the team and make informed decisions about resident care.

Requirements

  • Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care with nursing experience in the wider health sector.
  • Adaptability, empathy, and resourcefulness, with a strong ability to work in a team environment.
  • A commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • A nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
