McLean Care Ltd is seeking an experienced Clinical Care Manager to lead our team at the Killean Facility in Inverell. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our residents and overseeing the development of care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Team Leaders, and Care Service Employees.
- Manage systems to ensure staff can provide optimum levels of care, maximize funding income, and operate within budget parameters.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Act 1997 and Principles, as well as the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive excellence in aged care service and prioritize clinical excellence.
- Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- 5+ years' experience in provision of clinical leadership.
- Demonstrated understanding of individualized care provision and care planning processes.
- Demonstrated ability to seek out and effectively utilize new knowledge as it relates to nursing practices.
- Sound understanding of the Aged Care Act 1997 and Principles.
- Excellent understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and experience in managing compliance.
- Competence in financial management, including experience in managing claims for aged care subsidies and funding AN-ACC.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and/or their families/representatives, and staff.
- Collaborative leadership style.
- Ability to work well within a team and to liaise closely on key decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence people.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Basic Life Support accreditation.
- A competitive salary of $124,000 plus super.
- $6,000 RN bonus, each six (6) months pending eligibility.
- Salary packaging (up to $18,900 net) to increase your take-home pay.
- Relocation Allowance for experienced Clinical Care Manager looking to relocate to Inverell.
