About the Role: We are seeking a qualified Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis in Horsham, VIC. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work alongside an engaged and committed team to ensure the people we support lead happy and fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
- Implement support plans based on the individual's needs, preferences, and interests.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
- Support individuals to access community activities, social events, work, and appointments.
- Promote personal choice and control for the individual.
- Administer medication as required.
Requirements:
- A passion for enabling and working with people with disabilities.
- A willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training.
- A commitment to working as part of a team.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Employee Working with Children Check, and valid Australian Driver's License.
