Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Horsham/Nhill region. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement support plans based on individual needs, preferences, and interests
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, household duties, and meal preparation
  • Aid individuals to access community activities, social events, and appointments
  • Promote personal choice and control for individuals
  • Administer medication and provide first aid when necessary
Requirements
  • Passion for working with individuals with disabilities
  • Desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Unrestricted Australian Driver's License
