Assistant Store Manager Job Description

As a key member of our retail team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising employees, managing stock and special ordering processes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise employees to ensure optimal performance and provide training and support as needed.
  • Manage stock levels and special ordering processes to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure adherence to opening and closing procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop skills and grow with the company through internal opportunities.
  • Promote good quality food products and maintain a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Food related Retail Management role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
