Vehicle Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team in a permanent, full-time role.

The ideal candidate will possess minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician and hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance, and Repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles using diagnostic equipment
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT tests ensuring top standards
  • Attend on-site breakdowns providing fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Utilize handheld tablets to log work allocate parts and maintain records
  • Manage parts requirements optimizing stock levels
  • Support other business areas as needed
  • Adhere to health and safety policies maintaining professionalism
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven expertise in diagnostics repairs and fault finding
  • A full clean driving license
  • Strong organizational skills prioritizing tasks under pressure
  • A proactive approach to health and safety compliance
  • A team-oriented attitude professional manner
