This role is responsible for driving career development, learning, and engagement initiatives that empower employees to continuously improve and grow within the company.

The ideal candidate will have a pragmatic and consultative approach, providing strategic and operational support to drive talent management, learning, and development initiatives.

This position plays a vital role in identifying and nurturing emerging talent within our high-performing teams, working closely with managers to support their ongoing career development.

Role Responsibilities

  • Career Development Strategies: Collaborate with stakeholders to create high-performance plans that align with business objectives.
  • Strategic Learning Initiatives: Design and implement programs that empower employees to continuously improve and grow within the company.
  • Performance Reviews: Manage performance reviews, probationary assessments, and career milestone processes, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Coaching and Guidance: Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance and career development, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to support their teams effectively.
  • Early-Career Programs: Develop and execute an early-career program, including a graduate program, to attract and nurture emerging talent.
  • Skill Gaps Analysis: Identify skill gaps across teams and create tailored training programs, including working with external speakers and facilitators for targeted learning experiences.
  • People Metrics Analysis: Analyse People metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership, driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead employee engagement initiatives, including cyclical People & Culture activities such as gathering feedback, action planning, and implementing improvements that enhance the employee experience.
  • Culture Development: Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture by working closely with people leaders.
  • Legislative Compliance: Remain up-to-date with employment legislation and best practices.
