Job Overview:

This key leadership role is part of our People and Culture team, responsible for creating and implementing a talent acquisition strategy.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading talent acquisition functions, driving recruitment excellence, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. They will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, passionate about delivering exceptional candidate experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Talent Acquisition team to foster high levels of team engagement through learning opportunities, development, and stretching responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to forecast workforce demand, build pipelines, and implement proactive sourcing strategies
  • Design and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with workforce and projected growth priorities
  • Develop and maintain strategic sourcing partnerships with educational institutions, RTOs, and hotels schools to ensure a robust pipeline, participating in events and representing The organization's employment brand
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience across all recruitment touchpoints
  • Oversee the execution of onboarding learning delivery and operations, ensuring effective facilitation of learning programs
  • Ensure team support conforms to onboarding requirements, enabling compliance with legislation, including relevant Acts and associated policies

About You:

  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams in high-volume, compliance-heavy, and specialized recruitment areas
  • Background in hospitality or retail, with exposure to government or large corporate environments – bringing relatable and adaptable insights is desirable
  • Skilled in building talent pipelines through partnerships with industry groups, educational institutions, and confidently representing the organization's brand at events and expos
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives
  • Proven capability in employer branding, EVP development, and recruitment marketing
  • Confident in analyzing recruitment data and translating insights into strategy
  • A genuine people person who believes in the organization's mission and values, bringing a positive, human-centered approach to talent acquisition
