Hospitals Support Assistant

The Patient Services Assistant role is responsible for providing support to patients and staff in a hospital setting.
This involves various tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, distribution of food and linen, waste management services, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of patient areas.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, catering, waste management, and linen services. They should possess good communication and customer service skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
In addition, the successful candidate will have a C class driver's licence and be available to work a 7 day rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the cleanliness of patient areas and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Preparing and distributing meals to patients
- Providing efficient and effective linen and laundry services
- Managing waste and recycling in accordance with established procedures
- Delivering exceptional customer service to patients and staff
- Collaborating with other departments to achieve goals and objectives
