Theatre Orderly Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Orderly to join our team in a fast-paced and varied environment. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to this role on a long-term full-time basis following extensive training for the role.

About the Role

  • Supporting patients during their hospital stay, including assistance with transfers and cleaning of equipment.
  • Providing general housekeeping duties such as cleaning beds, organizing linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Assistance: assisting patients with daily living activities, mobility, and other needs.
  • General Housekeeping: maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Authority to Work in Australia.
  • Experience as a Theatre Orderly or in a hospital environment (desirable).
  • Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement.
  • Working with Children check.
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level attention to detail.
