Visitor Services Officer

Our organization is dedicated to preserving Australia's history and heritage.

This role involves working with visitors from around the world, providing exceptional experiences and contributing to a team-based environment. As a Visitor Services Officer, you will be the first point of contact for a diverse range of visitors, greeting and assisting them in a friendly and professional manner.

Your key responsibilities include responding to visitor inquiries with accuracy, offering information and direction that fosters an outstanding customer experience. You will also contribute to ensuring the safety and security of both visitors and exhibits by adhering to established protocols.

Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of visitors
- A passion for Australian history and culture
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Availability to work 3-4 shifts per week, a must on Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays, with shifts on other days available
- Ability to pick up shifts on the day, with 1-2 hours' notice
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to pass a National Police Check
- Knowledge of Australian military history is preferred but not essential
