Australian History Educator

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned programs for school groups. The ideal candidate will have experience in the education sector or similar, a passion for Australian history and inspiring young people in the stories, objects and people from Deep Time through to today.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide guided tours engaging with school groups on education and programs
- Liaising with teachers, students and members of the public
- Communicating program and event information across the museum
- Supervising exhibition and gallery spaces
- Developing and providing guided tours for school groups
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Flexibility to shift between delivery in a classroom environment, in the galleries and in other Museum spaces
- Maintains developed nuanced skills
- Passion to teach and guide through both standard and innovative methods with the ability to learn, effectively adjust and deliver engaging programs to students from K - 12
