Job Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Associate to join our Technology, Communications and Commercial team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in complex technology and commercial work, preferably working within a similar large firm environment with a focus on larger, transactional deals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting technology contracts and agreements, and providing advice on the supply and procurement of goods or services in the digital, technology, telecommunications and media sectors. Exposure to digital and telecommunications regulations, media and broadcasting would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing technology contracts and agreements
  • Providing advice on the supply and procurement of goods or services in the digital, technology, telecommunications and media sectors
  • Assisting with the preparation and negotiation of complex technology transactions

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in complex technology and commercial work
  • Strong technical, drafting and commercial skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills
  • A commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail
  • An ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity
