Our Positive Behaviour Support Model is underpinned by a multidisciplinary framework that incorporates the expertise of Behaviour Support Practitioners and Speech Pathologists to understand behaviour from a communication, sensory and environmental perspective.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients, families and/or carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning
- Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, focusing on eliminating restrictive practices in home and community settings
- Design, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within complex support environments
- Ensure individual plans reflect clients' goals, passions and strengths
- Empower those supporting our clients - family, carers, friends etc - with knowledge, capacity and strengths
