Job Opportunity: Transport Specialist

We are seeking an experienced transport professional to join our logistics team in a challenging role.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport temperature-sensitive freight safely and efficiently to major markets and grocery distribution centers.
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Ensure the safe and timely handling of freight, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Complete relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork, maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • MUST have current and valid MC licence and LF licence.
  • Prior commercial driving experience detailed in your resume.
  • A safe driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
