About the Role

The Mental Health Psychology Educator is a peer-recognised expert in their chosen field. You will work collaboratively to deliver excellence in consumer care, providing professional expertise and advice internal and external to Grampians Health on key issues of a psychological nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the ongoing implementation of Grampians Health's Allied Health graduate program in collaboration with other educators and discipline leads.
  • Participate in the Capability Framework working group to redesign clinical services for all disciplines.
  • Provide clinical supervision to psychology students and registrars throughout Grampians Health and partner programs in accordance with AHPRA guidelines.
  • Assist in the planning, development, and management of clinical teaching and clinical education of psychologists employed at Grampians Health.
  • Provide provision of psychology-related training and education to other health professionals within Grampians Health.

Skills & Experience

  • Registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Minimum Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, with area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
  • Substantial clinical experience as a Psychologist with relevant clinical and leadership skills.
  • Current board-approved supervisor through PBA.
  • Current driver's licence.
