We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Asset and Engineering team at Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our mechanical services infrastructure, including HVAC and central energy plant assets.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the technical requirements and completion of the Mechanical Services / HVAC asset portfolio, as well as managing your own Capital Program of circa $10 M pa associated with Replacement Expenditure and System Upgrade's to enhance performance and mitigate risk.
Melbourne Airport has a net zero strategy of zero scope 1 and scope 2 emissions by end of 2025, and you will play a key role in delivering this project and reducing energy intensity of our HVAC systems.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will have a minimum of 7 years of engineering and/or construction experience, and a core understanding of key asset requirements from Design, Build, Operate and Maintain. You will also have demonstrable technical proficiency in mechanical services and a Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Degree or equivalent.
