Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Dandenong South

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Dandenong South. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in mechanical design using Inventor and a strong understanding of conveyor systems.

About the Role:
  • Design new conveyors and material handling systems in Inventor with high levels of quality.
  • Deliver designs to agreed timing and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve any issues during manufacturing and customer installation.

This is a 3 to 6 month contracting role, offering an hourly rate of up to $80 per hour plus super, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • Cert IV in mechanical drafting, diploma or bachelor of mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience as a mechanical draftsperson.
  • At least 2 years of experience delivering CAD in Inventor.
  • An orientation to work as part of a small team in a customer-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with the design of conveyors, material handling equipment, gear motors, bearings, and pneumatics.
