About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diploma Qualified Childcare Educator to join our team at KU Sutherland Preschool. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing nature-based play and sustainable practices in our early childhood education programs
  • Developing and maintaining a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging and interactive educational programs
  • Providing exceptional care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of our service's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, as well as separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child-safe practices
  • A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
