The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of committed professionals and supporting the Principal in implementing the College vision and mission.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Catholic School's mission and purpose, as well as a commitment to academic excellence and contemporary approaches to pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals in the PD/H/PE Faculty
  • Support the Principal in implementing the College vision and mission
  • Assist the College Executive in the conduct and organisation of the school

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Deep understanding and commitment to the Catholic School's mission and purpose
  • Commitment to academic excellence and sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy
  • Ability to lead learning and foster innovation and creativity in a collaborative environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of NESA requirements and proven ability to implement effective teaching programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of requirements of all courses within PD/H/PE

Desirable Selection Criteria:

  • Ability to teach Religious Education and/or Studies of Religion I and/or II

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching courses within the PDHPE KLA to HSC Level
  • Level C Accreditation aligned with the Diocese of Wollongong policy or a commitment to gain within the first contractual period
  • NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above

Working with Children Clearance:

This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a working with children clearance to be completed prior to commencement.
