The Role of Procurement Specialist

This is a critical position within our organisation that focuses on driving purchasing initiatives and supporting internal departments. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional who can develop strong supplier relationships, manage stock replenishment, and align purchases with production plans and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process purchase orders within company systems">
  • Conduct daily checks on incoming goods to ensure high quality standards are maintained">
  • Work closely with demand planning and production teams to align purchases with daily production plans and forecasts">
  • Manage stock replenishment, with a focus on product shelf life">
  • Develop key supplier relationships for positive and ongoing stock deals">
  • Liaise with all departments in a professional and timely manner">
  • Support the preparation and processing of RFI's and RFP's to procure value-for-money solutions">

  • Prior experience working in a busy environment as a Purchasing Officer or Buyer, preferably within the FMCG sector">
