Position Overview

This part-time role is available for an experienced Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-informed best practice in supporting children and families. The successful candidate will assess child development, empower caregivers through coaching and training, and connect families with community resources.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the growth and development of children through tailored interventions.
  • Use assessments and observations to inform support options for each child and family.
  • Empower caregivers through training and coaching to build confidence and skills.
  • Facilitate connections between children and families with community resources.
  • Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals.

Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Expert knowledge of child development and early intervention principles.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and support families with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice.
