About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing psychological assessment and intervention to children, young people, and adolescents with developmental, behavioural, and emotional concerns.

This role operates as an integral member of a comprehensive understanding of a child/young person's developmental strengths and challenges, optimising their participation and engagement in activities of everyday life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality psychological services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of mutual respect and open communication.
  • Develop and implement individualised interventions, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination of care.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychology clinical practice, with a strong background in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of mutual respect and open communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, managing competing demands and pressures in a fast-paced environment.
