This is a specialist role for a Registered Nurse/Midwife to provide high-quality child health services in the Ipswich Hospital and community setting.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering expert nursing care in complex situations while supporting other team members.
- Modeling comprehensive, evidence-based nursing practices and documentation to facilitate quality patient outcomes.
- Communicating effectively with healthcare teams, patients, relatives, and visitors, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and contribute to policy development.
- Prioritizing clinical and administrative duties, including effective planning and organization of caseloads.
- Coordinating staff and managing resources to support day-to-day changes.
- A postgraduate qualification in Child Health is highly desirable, along with at least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases is required.
