This is a critical leadership role that oversees the development and implementation of HR and WHS strategies, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
About the Role- Develop and implement best practice HR and WHS policies, procedures, and strategies, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Manage employee life cycles, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Provide expert HR advice to support business growth and success.
- Design and launch comprehensive WHS programs and initiatives, minimizing risks and promoting a culture of safety.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify control measures to mitigate potential hazards.
- Deliver toolbox safety talks and maintain a Return to Work program, supporting injured workers' rehabilitation.
- Bachelor of Business (HR/WHS) or equivalent qualification.
- Return to Work Certificate.
- Current Driver's License.
- Proven experience in WHS and HR, preferably within manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in injury management, workers' compensation, and return to work programs.
- Knowledge of Fair Work Australia and Australian employment law.
- Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation across all states.
