Quality and Safety Manager Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality and Safety Manager to join our team and play a key role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards across our operations.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain ISO 9001 certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.
  • Manage quality assurance and control processes to minimize product impact and customer complaints.
  • Oversee incident reporting in the company's incident management system and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct HSEQ audits, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve quality, reduce spoilage, and optimize held stock levels.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture through awareness programs and training.
  • Work closely with customers/suppliers to address concerns, ensure compliance, and support label development.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in HSEQ roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in ISO 9001, GMP, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience in managing customer/supplier complaints and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ISO 4801, 45001, and regulatory compliance in workplace health and safety.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence and mentor teams in quality and safety.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive HSEQ improvements.
  • Certifications in Work Health and Safety (WHS), Risk Assessment, and Document Control.
