The OB/Gyn Physician plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to the community. As a member of the Healthcare team, this physician is essential to achieving the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide and coordinate all aspects of patient care, including attending to hospitalized patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and arranging specialty consultations as needed.
  • Act as a major medical resource, providing direct supervision of nurse practitioners and acting as a consultant to other providers while staying up-to-date in their area of expertise.
  • Contribute to after-hours telephone coverage, problem-oriented record-keeping, and database maintenance to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop protocols for delivering consistent, high-quality care and participate in educational, teaching, or attending responsibilities to promote professional growth.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited Medical School.
  • State of New Jersey Medical License.
  • CDS and DEA Licenses issued by the State of New Jersey.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in the current field, with a focus on primary care delivery.
  • Experience in a comprehensive, ambulatory care setting, particularly with inner-city populations.
