Emergency Care Nurse

The primary objective of this role is to deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
This Registered Nurse RN will be responsible for coordinating and providing exceptional patient-centered care based on established clinical protocols and physician/provider orders.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by adhering to organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurately document findings, reporting changes in condition to the appropriate care team members.
- Utilize knowledge of human growth and development to provide age-appropriate care and education.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration in accordance with standards of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians during procedures within the scope of documented competency and skill level.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions, such as CPR and code team activities, as required.
- Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in care planning and delivery.
Key qualifications include strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
