The role of Graduate Research Officer presents an exceptional opportunity to engage in research and provide informed advice on a diverse range of issues affecting local government.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting legal professionals in providing guidance to councils and their communities on legislative matters, case law, and policy development.
  • Collaborating with the Director Workforce & Legal in advising on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including Planning and Environment Law, Property Law, Contract Law, Code of Conduct issues, Council meetings, and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
