Policy Governance Specialist

StateCover is a specialised insurer that provides worker's compensation insurance solutions and safety and wellbeing services to local government entities across NSW.

This role involves embedding our policy governance framework and associated register through our newly implemented GRC. You will implement and manage an effective operating rhythm of key policies, procedures, and knowledge artefacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure good governance over all new and revised policies, including alignment to legislation, regulatory standards, norms, and other requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of reports, documents, briefings, and surveys related to policy governance.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including senior leaders and policy owners.
  • Implement and manage policies effectively in an APRA regulated environment.

A strong track record in managing policy governance, design, and implementation of policies is required.

Excellent communication skills, business acumen, and genuine people skills are essential for success in this role.
