Job Description: Support Workers are responsible for delivering high-quality services to clients, supporting them with household chores, grocery shopping, medication management, and attending medical appointments. They also facilitate participation in leisure activities, such as holidays, fishing, camping, and beach activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, including household chores and grocery shopping
- Manage medication and accompany clients to medical appointments
- Support clients with personal care needs
- Facilitate participation in leisure activities, promoting social inclusion and community access
- Develop and implement behavior management strategies, where necessary
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Blue Card for Working with Children
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Completed NDIS E-Learning modules
- Smartphone with internet access
