Support Care Worker

As a Support Care Worker, you will be working directly with individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks. This role involves providing emotional and practical support to enable clients to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients as needed
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
  • Preparing meals and snacks for clients
  • Engaging in social activities and outings with clients

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic first aid training and knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
