Disability Life Skills Assistant

This role requires a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight to work with individuals living independently in their homes across the Central Coast region.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Disability Life Skills Supporter to collaborate with participants on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Aiding with daily life activities both at home and within the community.
  • Supporting individuals with their educational and vocational pursuits.
  • Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
  • Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements using a company vehicle.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III or studying towards a course in Disability, Allied Health, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in disability or aged care is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A valid NSW Driver's license.
  • Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
