Electrical Distribution Project Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Distribution Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, you will be responsible for leading and managing distribution projects throughout the entire project life cycle.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage overhead and/or underground distribution line projects in the local region and beyond. They will be responsible for scope and/or proposal development, project team development and assignment, project execution, project closeout, quality control, schedule, and budget management.

  • Manage and lead distribution projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, proposals, and budgets.
  • Lead project teams and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure quality control and schedule compliance on all projects.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the power delivery industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
  • Excellent client management, marketing, and business development skills.
  • Prior experience managing staff, clients, contracts, and hiring staff for an engineering consulting firm.
  • Committed to quality, improvement, and company values.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • FE, PE license preferred.
  • PMP certification in lieu of PE.
  • Experience with electrical and planning analysis software.
  • Experience with design tools for pole loading analysis.
  • Experience using CAD software packages for electrical distribution.
  • Experience with new business designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Experience with reliability, grid modernization, and conversion projects.
