Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to provide support on all maintenance projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all software and hardware is in good working order, meets safety and regulatory requirements, conducts preventive maintenance activities, and addresses any functional issues which arise.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or IT, with experience in a similar role providing maintenance and/or IT support. You will possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain various equipment including network switches, CCTV cameras, workstations and servers across systems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance on the various systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults.
  • Provide remote and/or in-person preventative and routine maintenance.
  • Provide on-call support as part of a roster.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Manage sub-contracted IT services.
  • Design changes to infrastructure to facilitate business requirements.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot workstation hardware, networked peripherals devices, cabling and networking hardware and software products.
  • Prepare documentation, procedures manuals and help sheets for systems and technologies.
  • Maintain security solutions, including firewall, VPN services, anti-virus, CCTV, swipe card and intrusion detection systems.
