We're on the lookout for a seasoned Medical & Scientific (MSA) professional to spearhead innovative medical and scientific strategies in our team at Haleon.

This is an exciting opportunity to craft and execute evidence generation and external advocacy plans across Australia and New Zealand markets, collaborating closely with our ANZ MSA Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute insights on novel concepts with a sharp focus on benefit: risk analysis.
  2. Spearhead the development and substantiation of science-based product claims.
  3. Stay up-to-date on relevant publications, databases, and competitor movements for benchmarking.
  4. Provide crucial medical & scientific input to ensure promotional and educational materials meet regulatory and ethical standards.
  5. Offer medical & scientific support for product inquiries and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  6. Cultivate and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to bolster brand reputation and facilitate scientific exchange, serving as a liaison with external organizations.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in the Medical Affairs industry, ideally within Pharma, Biotech, CRO, OTC, or Nutritional sectors. Experience in consumer healthcare is a plus.
  • Proficiency in engaging with key opinion leaders, fostering meaningful connections.
  • A solid grasp of medical affairs principles encompassing clinical research, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze scientific data and literature, translating complex information into clear, compelling messages.
  • Strong business acumen, with a knack for strategic development within a competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, coupled with proactive decision-making abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks under tight timelines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration and drive results.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or similar).
