Detainee Services Officer

As a Detainee Service Officer with Serco, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our centre, which cares for detainees on behalf of an Australian Government Department.
This is a position of trust and responsibility, requiring a high level of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. You will work closely with the team to maintain the centre's safety and security, delivering exceptional services to detainees.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate the highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Possess a sound fitness level.
- Have an understanding of the needs of people from different ethnic, cultural, and lifestyle backgrounds.
- Possess clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility in relation to your availability to work as directed, undertaking a variety of shifts, rotational shift patterns, and hours as required by the centre.
- Have an intuitive nature with a good eye for detail.
- Work successfully with the team to maintain the centre's safety and security, ensuring excellence in delivery of services.
- Demonstrate a sound level of computer literacy.
- Maintain a strong desire for learning and your own development.
- Be willing to take the extra step to deliver.
