We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional to support our food services operations.

This role plays a vital part in contributing to the overall well-being of residents by enhancing their dining experiences. The successful candidate will work diligently to ensure that residents receive nourishing and enjoyable meals tailored to their individual needs.

  • Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing meals, including chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under the supervision of a supervisor.
  • Serving Meals: Help serve meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
  • Dining Room Setup: Set up dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.
  • Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area. They may also help with cleaning kitchen surfaces and storage areas.
  • Resident Interaction: Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during mealtimes, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid Food Handlers Certificate.
  • The ability to be adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • Excellent collaborative and teamwork skills.
