Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to assist in the preparation and service of meals to residents in our dining facility. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the overall well-being of residents by contributing to their dining experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of meals, which may include chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under the supervision of a qualified chef or cook.
  • Serve meals to residents during meal times, ensuring that each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
  • Set up the dining areas before meal times, ensuring tables are clean, and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during meal times, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
