Hospitality Assistant Role


We are seeking a hospitality assistant to join our team at Holy Cross aged care home. The successful applicant will provide high-quality dining services to residents, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.

The role involves coordinating meal services, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure effective running of the household.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly, as well as strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality dining services to residents
  • Coordinate meal services and maintain a clean and welcoming dining area
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure effective running of the household
Requirements:
  • Cert III in Aged Care or similar
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Warm, empathetic interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
