Community Engagement Manager

We are a young and ambitious charity dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable Muslim children below the poverty line. Our mission is to end world hunger and provide children with access to education and a better future.
Our WorkWe work tirelessly to provide children with the resources they need to succeed. Without our support, children are forced to choose between child labor, child marriage, or hunger. With our help, they can attend school and receive a warm, nutritious meal every day.
Our TeamWe are a small, nimble team that is passionate about our mission. We are looking for active, ambitious team members who have experience in community engagement, fundraising, and/or sales. Our top hiring criteria include a strong drive to get things done, a deep curiosity to develop skills, and a care for our mission.
Job Responsibilities- Manage Stakeholders & Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with principal donors, mosques, and other community organizations.
- Educate Donors & Organizations: Educate donors, mosques, and other community organizations about our work through various forms of communication.
- Act as Primary Contact: Act as the primary contact for a growing portfolio of principal donors.
- Grow CRA Brand Presence: Develop our brand, local programs, and physical presence in the region.
- Represent CRA: Represent us at events and networking opportunities across the region.
- Partner with Marketing: Partner with the marketing department to share ideas and shape regional fundraising campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead active teams of volunteers and supporters.
- Experience working with community groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both with individuals and working in teams.
- Evident potential for professional growth.
- Commitment to ethical excellence in all dealings and work.
- Solid understanding of Religious Giving from an Islamic Perspective.
- Broad knowledge of fundraising principles and the ability to participate in all areas of the development cycle.
- Familiarity with task management and communication platforms like Asana, Slack, and Notion.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within Melbourne.
