About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Engagement and Placement Manager to join our team at Acknowledge Education. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing placement and stakeholder engagement strategies for our Community Services Higher Education and VET programs.

Reporting directly to the Industry Engagement Manager, this role involves sourcing, developing, and managing local industry partnerships to ensure high-quality field placement opportunities for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Local Industry Engagement & Partnership Development
    • Source and secure local placement opportunities
    • Collaborate with lecturers/trainers to ensure compliance of partnerships with ACWA requirements
    • Negotiate Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with partners
    • Collaborate with the Industry Engagement Manager to execute engagement plans and regional strategy
  • Student-centric Approach
    • Proactively manage resolution of agent relationships matters
    • Escalate student-related matters to Senior Lecturer
    • Collect, analyze, and utilize feedback from agencies to enhance the processes of the students
    • Maintain industry relationships to assess the quality and effectiveness of student education
  • Compliance
    • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the Student Handbook is always up-to-date and compliant
    • Ensure all placement vacancies are vetted by the Senior Lecturer
About You
  • Proven successful experience in Business Development and/or stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated experience in building industry partnerships
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple demands
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines
  • In-depth understanding of community services or related sectors and placement processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing relevant technology and reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
