SMSF Manager

Job Description:
  • The SMSF Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of managing a portfolio of Self-Managed Super Funds.
  • They will ideally be someone who is seeking to advance their career within the ever-evolving SMSF space.
Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Administration of SMSF funds including adhering to relevant regulatory requirements and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Understanding of superannuation legislation and new rules governing SMSFs.
  • Opportunities to work on tax and business services across various companies, enhancing expertise and expanding skillset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for effective client engagement and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong teamwork ethos.
  • Experience in managing clients' expectations, delivering high-quality results, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
  • Overseeing the work produced by trained and experienced staff members to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in SMSF accounting in Australia dealing with complex client portfolios.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling strong professional presentation and building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
