Strategic Communication Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Communication Manager to play a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies to address key issues impacting our objectives and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to address key issues impacting our objectives and stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice to staff and managers dealing with situations involving media and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and reputation management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational communication programs, policies, and guidelines, driving business outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop, plan, and implement social media initiatives to build awareness of our corporate strategies and objectives, enhancing our online presence and reputation.
- Develop and review high-quality written materials for media and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Plan and implement public relations campaigns to effectively position our organization in the community, media, government, and business sectors, fostering positive relationships and influencing public perception.
- Experience in issues management, journalism, and/or communication planning, with a proven track record of success.
- Knowledge and appreciation of regulatory requirements and government processes, ensuring compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Knowledge and experience working with media, particularly print and electronic media, with expertise in media relations and crisis communications.
- Knowledge and understanding of new communication technologies and social media, leveraging digital channels to engage audiences and drive business outcomes.
