Strategic Communication Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Communication Manager to join our team at Downer's Business Services Centre.
This exciting role will see you leading strategic communications, crafting and executing plans to support operational, continuous improvement and change initiatives.
You will be instrumental in driving employee engagement, stakeholder alignment and the successful adoption of change.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans to drive key messages to stakeholders.
- Drive communication campaigns aligned with the Business Services Centre strategic plan.
- Spearhead the smooth roll out of communications across the centre and the broader business.
- Curate key internal and external communications for the centre.
- Provide engaging internal communication assets to key leaders and encourage active communication with teams.
- Foster an environment of knowledge sharing, innovation and continuous improvement.
Your Background:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in communications, with a focus on change management and communication to various stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
- Proven experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and collaboration abilities.
